Pianist and composer Jason Moran is one of the most critically acclaimed and uncompromising voices in jazz, and, increasingly, a respected representative as well. Moran became a McArthur fellow in 2010, and in 2011 was named the Kennedy Center’s artistic adviser for jazz.
