This Rio born trumpet and flugelhorn player has been on the US jazz scene since the 1970s. Claudio integrates post-bop elements and Brazilian rhythmic concepts with ease and plays with power and lyricism. A Grammy nominee, he has recorded a dozen albums as a leader. He is joined for this concert by two great guitarists Roni Ben-Hur and Paul Meyers, both masters of Brazilian harmonies and rhythms. This one is sure to be a cooker!
