Joe Lovano has been deservedly acknowledged to be one of the great contemporary masters of the jazz tenor saxophone. The secret to Joe’s success is his fearless ability to challenge and push the conceptual and thematic choices he makes in a quest for new modes of artistic expression, further defining the Jazz idiom. Although he's one of the most successful musicians working today, his lifelong regime of practicing, jamming and trying new sounds, endures.
