Nyack Jazz Week is an annual celebration of jazz & blues presented by the Rockland County Jazz and Blues Society in Nyack and neighboring towns in Rockland County, NY. Each year, eight consecutive nights of great music (indoors & out, many free to the public) feature a range of New York and world-renowned artists. Highlights will include free outdoor concerts at local parks, several concerts in the historic Carnegie-Farian Room at The Nyack Library, including The Next Generation of Jazz concert featuring up-and-coming New York jazz artists and Premier Concerts on Friday, July 26^th featuring Harvie S & Kenny Barron (Nyack Library), and Saturday, July 27^th featuring the Sonny Fortune Quartet (The Hudson House, Nyack). Past headliners at Nyack Jazz Week have included Fred Hersch, John Patitucci, Lou Donaldson, Dave Valentin, John Tropea, and Houston Person.
